QBATCH: Basic PBS commands

Basic PBS Commands

All PBS commands are under /usr/local/bin
  • To submit a job:
    qsub qbatch.pbs
    
  • To check the status of PBS jobs:
    qstat -Q
    
  • To delete (remove) a PBS job:
    See: Deleting PBS jobs

  • To put a submitted (queued) job on hold:
    qhold <JobId>
    
  • To release a job that is on hold:
    qrls <JobId>
    
  • To get job information from log files, use tracejob:
    tracejob -n 3 <JobId>
